Description

The Schneider Electric RXM2AB2P7 is a Harmony RXM miniature plug-in relay designed for industrial automation, control panels and general-purpose electrical control applications. It features 2 changeover contacts (2CO), a 230V AC 50/60Hz coil, an LED status indicator and a lockable test button.

The RXM2AB2P7 relay provides a rated contact current of 12A for normally open contacts at 250V AC and 28V DC under IEC ratings. Normally closed contacts are rated at 6A at 250V AC and 6A at 28V DC. Under UL ratings, the contacts can handle 12A at 277V AC and 12A at 28V DC.

The relay uses AgNi silver-nickel contacts and has a flat pin configuration for plug-in mounting. The integrated LED provides a clear visual indication of relay status, while the lockable test button allows convenient manual testing and switching during commissioning and maintenance.

With a 20ms operating time and 20ms reset time, the RXM2AB2P7 is suitable for applications requiring dependable relay switching. Its mechanical durability is rated at 10 million cycles, while electrical durability is rated at 100,000 cycles for resistive loads.

The Schneider RXM2AB2P7 has a maximum switching capacity of 3000VA / 336W, a rated insulation voltage of 250V according to IEC and 300V according to UL/CSA, and a rated impulse withstand voltage of 4kV.

The relay is designed to operate in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +55°C and has IP40 protection. It is suitable for mounting in any operating position and complies with IEC 61810-1, UL 508 and CSA C22.2 No. 14 requirements.

Schneider Electric currently lists RXM2AB2P7 as an active product, and Schneider regional documentation states that the earlier RXM2NB3P7 10A version has been replaced by the RXM2AB2P7.
