Description
The Schneider Electric RXM2AB2BD is a Harmony RXM miniature plug-in relay designed for industrial automation, control panels and general-purpose electrical control applications. It features 2 changeover contacts (2CO), a 24V DC control coil, integrated LED status indication and a lockable test button. Schneider Electric identifies it as a plug-in relay for use with compatible RXZE sockets.
The RXM2AB2BD 24V DC relay has a conventional enclosed thermal current rating of 12A and a continuous output current of 10A. Its contacts are rated up to 12A at 250V AC and 12A at 28V DC for normally open contacts under IEC ratings, while normally closed contacts are rated 6A at 250V AC and 6A at 28V DC.
The relay uses AgNi silver-nickel contacts and flat Faston-type pins. The integrated LED provides visual indication of relay energization, while the lockable test button allows manual operation during testing and commissioning. A mechanical contact-status indicator is also provided.
The 24V DC coil operates within a rated voltage range of 19.2–26.4V DC and has an average coil consumption of 0.9W. The relay has a typical 20ms operating time and 20ms reset time, making it suitable for dependable switching in automation and control circuits.
