Description

The Schneider Electric LV432640 is a standard MT400/630 motor mechanism module designed for ComPact NSX400 and NSX630 circuit breakers. It provides automatic spring charging, allowing compatible circuit breakers to be operated using an electrical control signal for automated opening and closing applications. The module is rated for a 110–130V AC control circuit at 50/60Hz.

The LV432640 motor mechanism is designed for circuit breaker frames rated at 400A and 630A. It is compatible with the ComPact NSX400/630, selected ComPact NSX DC circuit breakers, EasyPact CVS400/CVS630, and PowerPact Multistandard / PowerPact L systems. This makes the Schneider LV432640 suitable for automated low-voltage distribution and circuit breaker control applications.

The 110–130V AC motor mechanism module supports both impulse and maintained control signals, allowing system designers to integrate the motorized circuit breaker mechanism into different control architectures. Its standard control configuration is intended for automatic spring charging, while the circuit breaker itself retains its normal manual operating indications and functions.

The Schneider Electric LV432640 has a maximum operating frequency of 4 operations per minute. Schneider’s current product documentation specifies a circuit breaker response time of less than 80ms for closing and less than 700ms for opening. The motor mechanism has a maximum power consumption of 500VA during closing and 500VA during opening.

For operational safety, the LV432640 motor mechanism supports padlocking in the OFF position, with provision for 1 to 3 padlocks with 5–8mm shackle diameter. This allows compatible installations to retain mechanical locking capability while using motorized circuit breaker operation.

The MT400/630 motor mechanism module is a component rather than a standalone circuit breaker. It should therefore be selected according to the exact compatible ComPact NSX400/630, EasyPact CVS400/CVS630 or PowerPact L circuit breaker configuration. Correct control voltage and circuit-breaker compatibility should be verified before installation.

The Schneider LV432640 motor mechanism is suitable for applications requiring remote circuit breaker operation, automatic spring charging and automated electrical distribution control.
