Description

The Schneider Electric A9N61502 Acti9 C60H-DC MCB is a compact 2A 1-pole DC miniature circuit breaker designed to protect direct-current electrical circuits against overload and short-circuit currents. As part of Schneider Electric’s Acti9 C60H-DC range, it combines circuit protection, control and isolation in a compact solution for DC electrical distribution and control applications.

With a 2A rated current, C-curve thermal-magnetic protection, and a 250V DC rated operational voltage, the A9N61502 DC MCB is suitable for low-current DC distribution and control circuits. It provides a 6kA ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) at 250V DC, while the C60H-DC 1P range provides up to 10kA at 220V DC and 20kA at 110V DC.

The C-curve characteristic provides a balance between overload protection and tolerance to moderate starting or inrush currents. The thermal-magnetic trip technology helps protect connected DC equipment and wiring against both thermal overload conditions and short-circuit faults.

The Schneider A9N61502 is suitable for industrial isolation according to IEC/EN 60947-2. Schneider Electric also provides options for adding auxiliary devices, remote monitoring and other compatible accessories. Comb-busbar compatibility allows flexible installation within compatible Acti9 systems.

The C60H-DC range is specifically designed for DC circuits. Schneider’s technical documentation specifies that these breakers are polarised, meaning the specified polarity must be observed during installation.

For solar or photovoltaic DC applications, the complete system design, voltage, polarity, fault current and applicable installation standards should be checked before selecting the breaker. The manufacturer’s documentation classifies A9N61502 as a C60H-DC DC circuit breaker, rather than a dedicated PV-specific breaker.
