Description
The Schneider Electric LRD3359 TeSys LRD thermal overload relay provides reliable motor overload protection for high-current three-phase motor applications. It offers an adjustable 48–65A thermal protection range and Class 10A characteristics conforming to IEC 60947-4-1.
The LRD3359 overload relay is designed for use with TeSys D contactors LC1D80 and LC1D95, allowing the relay and contactor to be combined into a motor starter. Its differential thermal protection detects overcurrent conditions in motor lines and helps disconnect the motor through the associated contactor when an overload occurs.
The relay includes a thermal adjustment dial, 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts, phase-failure sensitivity, temperature compensation, and a transparent cover that can be locked by sealing to help prevent incorrect settings. It supports DIN rail or screw mounting and can also be mounted directly under compatible contactors.
