Description

The Schneider Electric LC1DT40M7 TeSys D Contactor is a robust 4-pole contactor from the TeSys D / TeSys Deca range, designed for reliable switching of resistive and non-inductive loads in industrial and commercial electrical systems.

The LC1DT40M7 features 4 normally open (4NO) main contacts and is rated at 40A under AC-1 utilization at up to 440V AC. This makes it particularly suitable for applications involving resistive loads, rather than being primarily selected for high-current motor switching. Schneider Electric specifies the product for industrial and HVAC applications.

The contactor is equipped with a 220V AC control coil operating at 50/60Hz, allowing it to be integrated into standard industrial control circuits. Its power circuit can operate at up to 690V AC 25–400Hz or 300V DC, subject to the applicable electrical conditions and ratings.

The LC1DT40M7 also includes 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts, providing additional contacts for control logic, feedback, signaling, interlocking, and contactor status monitoring.

For installation, the contactor uses screw-clamp terminals and supports DIN-rail or screw fixing, providing flexibility when installing the device in electrical control cabinets and automation panels. Its TeSys D design is intended to simplify installation and provide dependable switching performance.

The Schneider LC1DT40M7 is suitable for industrial automation, HVAC control, heating systems, lighting and resistive-load control, electrical distribution panels, and general low-voltage switching applications.
