The Schneider Electric LC1D32BD is a TeSys D / TeSys Deca 3-pole contactor with 3 normally open (3NO) power contacts, rated 32A AC-3 at up to 440V AC. It features a 24V DC control coil, 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts, and is suitable for motor control, industrial automation, PLC panels, HVAC systems, pumps, fans, conveyors, and machine control applications.
Description
The Schneider Electric LC1D32BD TeSys D contactor is designed for reliable switching and control of three-phase squirrel-cage motors and other industrial electrical loads. It provides a 32A AC-3 rating at ≤440V AC and supports motor applications up to 15kW at 380–400V and 415–440V, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial motor-control systems.
The 24V DC coil makes the LC1D32BD particularly suitable for PLC-controlled automation panels, machine control systems, OEM equipment, and installations using a 24V DC control power supply. The DC-coil version should not be confused with the LC1D32B7, which uses a 24V AC 50/60Hz coil.
The contactor includes 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts as standard and supports the wider TeSys D accessory ecosystem, including auxiliary contact blocks and time-delay accessories. It can be mounted on a 35mm DIN rail or directly by screw fixing, with a compact 45mm width for control-panel installation.
With its 32A AC-3 motor rating, 50A AC-1 rating, 6kV impulse withstand voltage, and operating temperature range of -5°C to +60°C, the LC1D32BD Schneider contactor is well suited for demanding industrial and HVAC control applications.
