Description

The Schneider Electric LC1D09M7 TeSys D Contactor is a reliable and compact 3-pole motor contactor designed for switching and controlling three-phase motors and resistive loads in low-voltage electrical installations.

With an AC-3 rated current of 9A at up to 440V AC, the LC1D09M7 contactor provides dependable motor switching performance for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Its power circuit supports rated operational voltages up to 690V AC at 25…400Hz and up to 300V DC under specified conditions.

The Schneider LC1D09M7 features 3 normally open main contacts (3NO) and integrated 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts. This configuration makes it suitable for motor starting, holding, interlocking, signalling and control circuits. The contactor operates with a 220V AC control coil at 50/60Hz.

For motor-control applications, the LC1D09M7 TeSys D contactor supports motor powers of 2.2kW at 220–230V, 4kW at 380–400V, 4kW at 415–440V, 5.5kW at 500V, and 5.5kW at 660–690V under AC-3 conditions. It also supports 2.2kW AC-4 motor power at 400V under specified operating conditions.

The 9A Schneider contactor has an AC-1 rated current of 25A at up to 440V AC and a conventional free-air thermal current of 25A. It provides a rated making capacity of 250A at 440V and a rated short-time withstand current of 105A for 10 seconds at 40°C.

The LC1D09M7 provides a 690V rated insulation voltage and 6kV rated impulse withstand voltage, helping provide reliable insulation performance in industrial electrical systems.

Designed for long-term operation, the TeSys D LC1D09M7 offers approximately 15 million mechanical operating cycles and up to 2 million electrical cycles in AC-3. Its compact 45mm width makes it suitable for space-conscious motor control panels and electrical cabinets.

The contactor can be installed on a DIN rail or mounting plate and uses screw-clamp terminals for electrical connections. It operates in ambient temperatures from -5°C to +60°C and can be used at altitudes up to 3000m without temperature derating.
