Schneider Electric Acti9 C60H-DC A9N61503 3A 1-Pole C-Curve DC MCB – 6kA, 250V DC
The Schneider Electric A9N61503 Acti9 C60H-DC is a 3A 1P C-curve DC MCB with 6kA breaking capacity at 250V DC, providing reliable overload and short-circuit protection for DC distribution and control circuits.
Description
The Schneider Electric A9N61503 Acti9 C60H-DC MCB is a compact 3A 1-pole DC miniature circuit breaker designed to provide dependable overload and short-circuit protection for direct-current electrical circuits. It combines circuit protection, control and isolation functions in a compact Acti9 device.
With a 3A rated current, C-curve tripping characteristic, and 250V DC rated operational voltage, the A9N61503 DC MCB is suitable for low-current DC distribution and control applications. Its 6kA ultimate breaking capacity at 250V DC provides effective interruption of fault currents within the manufacturer’s specified operating conditions. At 220V DC, the C60H-DC 1P range provides up to 10kA Icu, while at 110V DC it provides up to 20kA Icu.
The C-curve characteristic is suitable for DC circuits where the connected equipment can experience moderate starting or inrush currents. The C60H-DC range uses thermal-magnetic trip technology, combining thermal protection for overload conditions with magnetic protection for short-circuit currents.
The Schneider A9N61503 also supports industrial isolation according to IEC/EN 60947-2. Schneider Electric provides options for adding auxiliary devices, remote monitoring and remote tripping, while comb-busbar compatibility allows flexible installation within compatible Acti9 systems.
For DC installations, polarity requirements must be observed. Schneider’s technical documentation specifies that C60H-DC devices are polarised and supply should be connected according to the indicated polarity.
