The Schneider Electric MasterPact NW40H1 48097 is a 4000A, 4-pole fixed air circuit breaker (ACB) frame designed for high-capacity low-voltage power distribution. It features an H1 performance level with 65kA Icu at 440V AC, 690V AC rated operational voltage, and is supplied without a control/trip unit.
Description
The Schneider Electric MasterPact NW40H1 48097 is a high-current air circuit breaker frame from the MasterPact NW range, designed for demanding LV electrical distribution systems. With a 4000A rated current, 4-pole configuration and fixed mounting, it is suitable for high-capacity main incomers, bus couplers and heavy sub-distribution applications.
The MasterPact NW40H1 provides 65kA ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) at 440V AC. Its service breaking capacity (Ics) is also 65kA, while its short-time withstand current (Icw) is rated at 65kA for 1 second and 3 seconds. The breaker is Category B and suitable for isolation according to IEC 60947-2.
The breaker has a 690V AC rated operational voltage, 1000V insulation voltage and 12kV impulse withstand voltage. The fixed construction is intended for permanent installation in a switchboard, while the supplied bare frame does not include a MicroLogic control/trip unit.
For protection and metering, the appropriate Schneider Electric MicroLogic control unit must be selected separately. For a 4-pole configuration, the final protection arrangement and required accessories should be selected according to the electrical system and single-line diagram.
